Rocket Bakery used to be my favourite spot years ago. The past few years the food is just not up to par. The soups are abysmal and some of the desserts just don’t taste good, especially the lemon tart, the lemon cake and chocolate cake. The pastries are nice, however.
The past few years the service has gone way downhill. The wait staff in Mount Pearl are often rude and unaccommodating. Rocket Bakery has become a very “woke” business employing mostly immigrants. This is very disappointing for a local business and anti-Newfoundland. Make jobs for Newfoundlanders first!

Wonderful bakery. On my visit to NFLD, I bought a bunch of scones and snacks for my family in Ontario. They were all eaten within one day. Lovely pastries, amazing service. Looking forward to visiting again one day :)

I tried the fish cakes in a few other places before stopping at Rocket Bakery. These fish cakes were full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. I had the first one plain and the second one I dipped the fish cake in their special sauce.... It changed my life. Wow!
