This is a pretty simple airport to navigate; only one terminal so it is fairly straightforward. We ran into a bit of a line at security though since there is only one checkpoint, but that is why you ensure you arrive with plenty of time before the flight. They have your standard options for pre-flight snacks as well as some souvenir options. The gates and waiting areas were clean and spacious.

Gayle and I flew into YYT from Montreal on the front end of our Newfoundland adventure and departed 5 days later via a non stop to Toronto. Both flights were on Air Canada. The St. John's Airport is on the smaller side for a Capital airport and reminded me of Reno or Baton Rouge in terms of size and easy walkability.
