About The Celtic Hearth

The Celtic Hearth is a charming place known for its cozy and historic atmosphere. The pub features an old brick and wood tavern style with dim lighting and dark decor, creating a romantic setting. Customers enjoy sitting by the old-fashioned Hearth. The chowder soup remains a highlight, and the pub fare includes chowder, hot turkey, and a house burger. Recent reviews highlight the Moose burger as the best burger ever and praise the food quality overall. The Newfoundland Fish and Chips is described as utterly delicious, with perfect fish and tasty fries. The club sandwich and onion rings are also highly recommended, with homemade bread and good bacon. The staff are friendly and attentive, making the experience pleasant. Some reviews note that the service can be overwhelmed at times, but the overall atmosphere and food continue to draw positive feedback. The restaurant’s open 24 hours is appreciated, and there are plenty of choices on the menu, including breakfast options like the fish cake breakfast and Newfoundlander Breakfast, which have been praised. Customers also enjoy the massive breakfast poutine. Despite some comments about seating and prices for mocktails, the overall experience remains highly recommended.

I went here with my husband last night on our first date in a long while without the children :). I love, love, LOVE the old brick and wood "tavern" style atmosphere of the pub. I had the Newfoundland Fish and Chips which was utterly delicious!! The fish was perfect, not to wet, not too dry and it had...read full review

We arrived at 10:30 for a breakfast for 4 people, it was not busy at all. Food took 50 mins to arrive and was cold , I figured after such a wait we would at least receive a hot meal . Not impressed for a bill that exceeded $100 for breakfast, we will not be back 😕

I love that it's open 24 hours so I can stop in to wind down and munch out after work
