We were sent upstairs to the bar that share the restaurant with celetic hearth. The food was subpar, for Newfoundland, we had the cod and crab cakes and fish and chips, and the cod cakes might as well be called mash potatoes with fish flavourful and the fish and chips was pretty average... but not your fresh fish fry that one would expect. The poor server was nice, but I felt she was left to manage a lot by herself on that floor. Overall, I won't be going back, but the server was pleasant but food need improvements especially based on the prices.

Excellent cod tongue with pork fat and amazing thick onion soup! Great local beer as well. Pleasant and friendly service

We arrived at 10:30 for a breakfast for 4 people, it was not busy at all. Food took 50 mins to arrive and was cold , I figured after such a wait we would at least receive a hot meal . Not impressed for a bill that exceeded $100 for breakfast, we will not be back 😕

Terrible food and service! I ordered two butter chicken poutines. Usually they make them really well, but sadly it was made absolutely terribly when I ordered on that day. The portion size was next to nothing, no trace of gravy or chicken either. The worst part is that I left a message to speak with the manager three separate times, and he didn’t even have slightest courtesy to call me back and ask what the matter was. Absolutely terrible service and food. The same day I also mice in their restaurant. This would be the last time I will be dining there, seeing what I saw

absolutely horrendous service (super long wait time when it gets busy), mediocre food (the mozzarella sticks were very salty and the salad was fresh but the dressings were a bit too much..). cute atmosphere though. overall, will never come here if it was not midnight on a sunday when all other kitchens were closed.

We went here for dinner a couple of weeks ago, and we liked it soo much that we went back for breakfast the next morning! I did not like the cod tongues but I think they may be an "acquired taste." I would definitely go back and would recommend to friends.

Wonderful meal again, this is our go to place for dinner out. Waitress was attentive and sweet. Food well way too big of servings, after a starter and a salad we could barely touch our meal. I ordered the lamb shepherds pie and husband had the fish and chips for like the 4th time lol. All tasty, reasonable price for the servings size we have enough leftovers for the weekend.
