I went here with my husband last night on our first date in a long while without the children :). I love, love, LOVE the old brick and wood "tavern" style atmosphere of the pub. The dim lighting and dark decor make the pub feel very cozy, historic and romantic. We sat across from the bar in a little booth next to the old-fashioned Hearth which was lovely. I had the Newfoundland Fish and Chips which was utterly delicious!! The fish was perfect, not to wet, not too dry...
Food was great! Server was friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of choice to the menu. Something for everyone. We shared the crab and cod cakes and then had the mussels ( creamy and garlicky) and the French onion soup with brisket- so good!
