My husband and I began going to the Gypsy Tea Room when we stumbled across their private rooms as a possible wedding venue. We have loved every meal and drink we have had in the many visits since, especially on our wedding day. The service is always top notch, the drinks are delicious, and we love the atmosphere. Pretty tasty food. Lovely bunch of fellas working there. After I told him I was home visiting from Alberta he told me (in jest, obviously) that the scallops were all the way from the Great Athabasca River in Alberta 😂
The wine sauce was a touch strong but enjoyable and the mussels were a little undercooked for my usual preference but I slurped them all down in lightening quick succession and ravaged the garlic bread mercilessly.

We were a group of 18 and was seated and one of the large rooms in the lower floor. The room was fantastic, spacious, and gave us a private space for interactions. Our server was very attentive a patient. I ordered the cod fish burger and I would definitely ordered again. Portions was great, tons of fries.
