The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - St. John's

There was six of us celebrating a birthday and each one of us has issues with our food and beverages. Steaks under cooked, wrong sides on plates. The side of ceasar salad was literally lettuce, sauce, no croutons or bacon bits and sauce was limited. Drinks were made under par of what the Keg usually served. We did advise the server of the issues and manager came over and we did get a credit. However for a restaurant of the Kegs calibre I was disappointed.

Meal was great and also service. The only thing was the girl taking you to your table was very uncomfortable with her boobs hanging out of her dress. I don't think it was very appropriate. Honestly who wants to see that!

Our server Neil was awesome! Great evening out with family. Great value and food was yummy.

I can honestly say The Keg isn’t what it used to be. The quality of food was terrible Prime Rib cooked medium was very pale looked steamed lacked flavour, Caesar salad was warm crumbs for croutons, Full rack of ribs tasteless. I have always enjoyed & highly recommend the Keg because it never disappoints but this visit was very disappointing.The price tag 350.00 I will take my money elsewhere.

Ended up at this spot for a business meeting. The server was very polite and easy to get along with. The food was sent out quick and was well plated. The food tasted fantastic and all of us really enjoyed our meals. When we were finishing up and asked for the bill, they were quick in getting us settled up so we could pay and be free to leave when we wanted to without having to wait for someone to come with a bill or machine. We never felt rushed to order or get out. Very welcoming restaurant and look forward to returning again for a delicious meal and a few drinks.

Had amazing birthday evening there on my bd tequila sunrise was pretty good better then other places needs better pineapple, orange tropical juice we say .staff was amazing has always view of harbor boats waterstreet clean staff at least comes see if everything is OK need anything after you receive food make sure meal is ok

By far one of my favorite restaurants to visit when I'm in the city. It's within walking distance of the hotels that my husband and I stay at. The food is delicious, and the drinks are phenomenal.

My husband I went tonight to celebrate my birthday,so disappointed.What happened to the Caesar Salad? Crumbs on top just like emptying the bag you buy and placing them on top of the salad.No cheese.My husband's steak was supposed to be medium rare it was closer to well done. The server wasn't friendly at all,we always receive great service,but not tonight.When I made the reserva tion I asked for a window table oh we got a window table all right downstairs in a cold I mean freezing window table ,had to move to the other table by the wall.The other 2 couples that they tried to seat there asked to move as well because it was so cold. The steaks were so salty. The place wasn't even busy at that time so they can't use that as an excuse.Couldn't wait to go for my birthday what a disappointment it was...The billy miner cake was great though.Was not worth the 169.00 dollars at all.Won't be back....Sonja

I stopped by given this place was right in front of the hotel I was staying at and had a great experience. I ordered the prime rib, asked for medium rare, and did they ever deliver! The prime rib was tender and very flavourful on its own. A forewarning, their horseradish is fresh and insanely powerful, good pairing to the prime rib as with the aux-juis. Likewise, the service was wonderful and food came in a timely manner, tables and area was clean and staff was very welcoming and friendly. This place has great scenery and views of the port and docked vessels!!

It's called a steakhouse and yet they don't know how to cook a steak? Asked for med and it was bloody with a light sear on both sides. We were first to be seated and it was as thought we were rushed to get our drinks, get served, eat and shoved out the door. We spent $204 leaving a $25 tip but the experience felt rushed and the food was sub par

Three steaks in our group were overcooked. I ordered mine rare and it came out grey in the center so I had to send it back. One member of our party ordered the duck special and it came out quite dry. The space was great and service was good but I wouldn't go back on account of the food.

Made our reservation online before leaving the UK. When we arrived the restaurant was within a 5min walk from the cruise terminal. Absolutely packed inside with young, old, families, groups of friends and also some middle aged Brits (us). Our server Shay was great, very helpful and extremely polite. Great food and excellent service, we made sure to ask about tips and service charges etc. (all very different from the UK).

Had the absolute worst service we ever received from the keg. The waiter was terrible, rude and unfriendly. I Burned my arm on the hot pan that the Brie was brought out on as I had no warming it was hot, he clearly knew I burned myself and he said NOTHING. we were there for almost 2 hours celebrating our wedding anniversary and he never checked us and let our drinks go dry for nearly 40 minutes. We were planning on having a good time and having many drinks to celebrate but he actually put such a damper on our night out. This is not our typical experience but we're extremely dissatisfied with our server. Left feeling very disappointed.
