We are on our honeymoon and this was our first stop in St. John’s. The fish and chips were so good! Staff were friendly. Great energy! We’re stopping back in for another meal before we head home.
We’ve been in St. John’s for two days and we’ve been here twice already. Come for a late lunch and had the seafood soup, it was lovely and flavorful. Lindsay and her staff are absolute gems, you can tell they care for the pub and the customers. The vibes are perfect and what you would want in a pub called The Ship. We’ll be back before we leave to go home.
My wife returned home to say goodbye to her mother, last November. She had one night to drink and relax, downtown.
We went to The Ship because of the good times we had, back in the 90s. It was great at first, nice live music, but the guy who was running the place was a neurotic mess, who kicked everyone out.
