One of our go to restaurants when in St.john’s. I always order the braised short rib, and it never disappoints. So much flavour, beef is literally falling off the bone! Pair it with Wexford Wheat beer, you’ll be glad you did.
Be sure you ask to be seated in the Underbelly, the more secluded area downstairs.

Dropped in for dinner and drinks with friends. Nice vibe. Good selection of beers. Staff were friendly and quick. Decent menu with a few vegan friendly options. Food was tasty. Beer was great.

We enjoyed dining with drinks at Yellowbelly. The food was delicious! We ordered mussels, beef gnocchi, beetroot salad, a pizza, and calamari. We had beer flights to try a variety, all were so good!

I have a soft spot in my heart for bar food and this place nailed it. I went with a friend who is vegan and gluten free and they got to have a delicious vegan and gf burger and I had the nachos and subbed vegan cheese, with some added guac on the side. Their house made salsa is also really good. We were having too much of a good time I forgot to take photos.

Had to try this place after hearing about it. The Thai Curry mussels were outstanding and the service was fantastic. The nachos could have been better but decent.

Good service, great beer - however they keep running out of red for dune reason. Also if you stay late you might see a mouse running between tables.

We had to wait awhile for a table as they were really busy and short-staffed. Our waitress was great and we enjoyed the Margarita and Sicilian pizzas. I was going to have cod but it was breaded and not beer-battered, which I prefer. Cream ale was particularly good!

Rejected once with a child because they were at capacity but let in the couple behind us without a reservation. Rejected us a second time when we had a reservation due to a “system” issue - people were sitting down eating lol. Ridiculous.

Go for beers, very good and 5$ during happy hour (3 to 5pm) and 10pm to close. Food is average and overpriced.

Went for supper. Was seated on the patio. Waited ~25 minutes for the server to return with water and a drink order. After that long we left and went elsewhere.

Possible we caught them on a shift change but felt forgotten.

I booked a table in advance to come here. The place is very popular! We were in the old hall, where there were still traces of a big fire. It creates an atmosphere. If you want a noisier atmosphere, book a table in the main hall. The food is very tasty, but we came for the beer, which they brew themselves. There is a lot to choose from. Thank you.
