“I understand all the high reviews! i came for the first time and asked a ton of what must have been very touristy questions about the place and Heather was so kind and helpful. Thought I would try one of their croissants or other pastry with filling but they were out so I tried the bagels that were recommended — ended up coming back for 2 more bagels in the same day because they are that good!“

“We recently ordered a custom made Black Forest cake for an event. The presentation of the cake upon pickup was spectacular! We followed the verbal and written instructions. The cake was amazing, it was moist , icing was not sweet & it looked beautiful on the plates . Our guests really enjoyed it and several people took cake home ❤️ I was very happy with cake & would order again Thanks“

“I tried the fish cakes in a few other places before stopping at Rocket Bakery. These fish cakes were full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. I had the first one plain and the second one I dipped the fish cake in their special sauce.... It changed my life. Wow!“

“I am ashamed to say that this was the first time I visited this store despite having lived in St. John's for a couple of decades. The staff are fun and friendly, and happy to share their opinions when asked. I didn't leave the store with everything I wanted to buy, since I had walked - the special edition Le Creuset set with the gold handles will have to wait. I did get some bagels (really good) some scones (excellent) and a baguette that was outstanding. The store is dangerously close to my house. I fear I may accidentally make this my destination when I go for a walk... No matter, though, the prices are very reasonable for fresh, locally made, and, most importantly, delicious baked goods.“

“This place is soo good. The staffs are soooo friendly. They made fresh wraps for me. I don’t know her name but she’s the sweetest. Also, the matcha here is theee best in town… One recommendation though, the matcha size is a little small. I love matcha so maybe like bigger size would be great. But overall, I love this place. Best sandwich as well. The sandwich bread is awweessome with seeds and nuts. My God!“

“This place was so lovely! We’re visiting and needed gluten-free cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday so was recommended to Sugar Mamas. The options did not disappoint. We grabbed some chocolate and vanilla cupcakes beautifully decorated. The staff that helped us was very nice and patient while my daughters each picked out their desired cupcake. Would definitely return!“
