“Perfect. Comes with a smile. Very tasty. I came for the Lobster Benedict, but it is seasonal and was not on the menu. This was my alternative. Salmon Benedict with substitute hash browns for truffle fries with aoli side. Nice ambience too (There's a lounge/bar and a divided restaurant). I would come back.“

“This is exactly how I pictured my Newfoundland Fish and Chip meal would be. The best fish and chip I've ever had. Service was great and friendly. Loved the atmosphere of the place. If I'm ever back here in St John's it'll be my first stop. Even beats a walleye fish fry shore lunch.“

“I went there with 4 of my other colleagues because a couple of them wanted to get 'screeched in.' it was definitely a wonderful experience to witness that. Maybe next time I will get screeched in as well. The drinks were great and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly.“
“I found the place warm and friendly. Staff and patrons open to stimulating conversation. Met the owner Conan Coates and he was a delightful man to chat with on various topics. And the best open mic music experience I’ve experienced hosted by Matthew. It also has a library study area with books you can borrow or you can sit and read. Love the place.“

“Love this place, been in St John's for 3 days, had dinner at the Fish Exchange for two of those evenings. Had the Halibut with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, absolutely delicious. Finished it off with what is now, my new favourite Cheesecake...the Apple Crumble Cheesecake..had that twice also.I'll be back here in a few weeks.“

“Incredible stuff. We were served by Andrew, who seemed to also be the head bartender? He mentioned that the restaurant had recently transitioned from a small plates menu to mains, and that the cocktail menu was also new. I gotta say, how lucky we were to come at this time! The chorizo cream sauce pasta was the best pasta I've had in my entire life. Brisket tacos were moist and came with crisp salsa and a lovely coleslaw. Maple whisky cocktail came with hickory smoke, transcendent experience!“

“This is one of the best places to go for some amazing good food and the atmosphere and the workers treat you like family. I love coming here for a relaxing and amazing evening and it's great for takeout too. The staff Tom Andrew and Sarah are absolutely amazing individuals. They go above and beyond with everything and treat you like one of their own. For anyone who hasn't tried this yet I highly recommend it. Their menu is amazing and the food, well that speak for itself.“
“Love this place! We just moved into the area and have already been there twice. If you hear the song "I'm a Survivor" by Reba play on the cool jukebox they have there, then chances are I'm there somewhere ?. Great staff, pool table, darts, lotto, everything I need in a local pub. Keep up the great work.“

“Our first pub that we came to in St. John's. After a long day of traveling, this was very welcoming. They had live music, friendly bar tenders and a nice pub feel. Right on the main drag on Water Street. Another cool thing about St. John's is they shut several blocks down of Water Street so people could stroll safely with no car traffic.“

“This is not the place to go if you are looking for a nice relaxing atmosphere to spend a few hours. Some of the patrons are very rude (cursing loudly) so everyone hears them. Belching loudly to annoy other customers. Yelling nasty comments. The staff seem to think this is ok. It is not! It has changed from a nice friendly place to a lace to avoid.“
