Love going to the captains pub at the anchor inn in Twillingate. Been there at least 20 times to see Mike Sixonate play. If you’re looking for a great relaxing night and to see someone play great NL music Mike is the guy to see.
Mike was phenomenal! His jokes are hilarious, great place to listen to some newfoundland music
Go to see and hear Michael’s show. He is an outstanding local musician with loads of funny stories. A great evening’s entertainment.

Captain's Pub is a friendly neighborhood pub offering excellent food and service. The room has a superb view, and the staff is lovely, always friendly and helpful. The menu features vegetarian options, including the popular fried pickle, and simple good food like the fantastic Sailor's Pizza. Entertainment and great music add to the pub's lively atmosphere, especially when Newfoundland musician Mike Sixonate plays live music and tells entertaining stories. The pizza is excellent, and the pub is a lively spot where you can enjoy tasty tap beer and an awesome selection of NL beers. It’s a great place to visit for a successful evening, especially if you want to experience local music and a fun, welcoming environment. During busy nights, arriving early is recommended to secure a seat for the live entertainment. Overall, Captain's Pub is a lively, unpretentious place full of local flavor, perfect for a night out in Twillingate.
