Our group really enjoyed the night of music and storytelling by Mike Sixonate. Our server, Maria, was excellent and very personable. Would definitely return if we're ever in Twillingate again.

Simple pub with tasty tap beer and simple good food. When the Newfoundland musician and singer Mike Sixonate plays live music from 8:30 p.m., a successful evening is guaranteed.

Had thr Sailor's Pizza last night and it was fantastic. The staff are always so friendly, helpful and help create a comfortable and relaxed environment. Drinks are great, food is even better. Thanks Captain's Pub - will see you again soon!

Fantastic little pub with a resident entertainer-- Mike Sixonate puts on a great show, weaving boatloads of entertaining stories into his sets. Very funny guy, grand musician, and he'll even screech ya in. Pub staff was very good, and an awesome selection of NL beers to choose from.

We dined here on the Tuesday after Canada Day, and I must say the food was definitely not worth the price. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were friendly, but the quality of the food fell short of our expectations. For the price we paid, we were hoping for a more flavorful and memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, the wings were bland (and very small) and the salad lacked the fresh ingredients and vibrant tastes we anticipated. We left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed. I hope the restaurant can improve its menu to better match the high prices they charge. It sounds like the entertainment is the main draw and why it has such great reviews.

Had a wonderful time taking in the Newfoundland stories and songs of a local Twillingate musician Mike Sixonate who plays Captain’s Pub May-October. Very friendly and entertaining guy. Enjoyed the pizza and local craft beers (mostly Quiddi Vidi)
