Very inviting space - perfect for an hour with a book. Scones, buns, and cranberry crunch(?) were excellent. Coffee was mild but hot and paired well with the sweets. Bummed we found this place on our 4th of 5 days in Twillingate.
My daughter and I spent a couple of hours enjoying coffee and some of the incredible baked items at the Blue Barrel during our brief stay in Twillingate. There is a lot to discover in their gallery - local handcrafted items and unique keepsakes. We were fortunate to be able to meet Angela, who happened to be working there during both of our afternoon visits and again when I stopped in to grab a coffee and treats for the road on the morning of our departure. Amazing scones and excellent coffee. Nice space . Server was not friendly - maybe tired of tourists. Just reminds us what a huge difference friendly people make in the moments of our lives.
