Very inviting space - perfect for an hour with a book. Scones, buns, and cranberry crunch(?) were excellent. Coffee was mild but hot and paired well with the sweets. Bummed we found this place on our 4th of 5 days in Twillingate.

My daughter and I spent a couple of hours enjoying coffee and some of the incredible baked items at the Blue Barrel during our brief stay in Twillingate. There is a lot to discover in their gallery - local handcrafted items and unique keepsakes. We were fortunate to be able to meet Angela, who happened to be working there during both of our afternoon visits and again when I stopped in to grab a coffee and treats for the road on the morning of our departure. What a kind, friendly, absolutely lovely human being she is! I have no doubt that our experience would not have been quite as special without her. We were made to feel so welcome and right at home. Thank you so much, Angela!

Fabulous place to come and eat. Light lunch fan fare! We had subs for lunch and homemade is delish!!! Earlier today we came by for hot coffee and scones and oh my everything is delish ??. All homemade and yummy desserts here. The folks working here are friendly, kind and humble. Thank you for serving us. Your location has a great vibe too. We recommend it to everyone. This is a pretty building with a great art gallery. The staff are very helpfuland friendly but the baked goods were old and stale, even though we were assured they were made that morning. Visit for the art and atmosphere- but leave the food alone.
