The view is amazing at this restaurant, the servers are wonderful and the food is delicious every time. I've dined at a lot of restaurants all over and this is 100% one of my favorites. Would highly

My Mom and I had dinner here and we had a great experience. Sarah, our server, was wondeful and even gave us tips on the best local hikes. My Mom loved her scallop appetizer and I had the Carrot soup and Acadian Salad (minus dairy - I'm plant based). Would recommend Georgie's to anyone.

If you want down-home breakfast, Newfoundland style, eat here. They have the best "toutons" we had in the Province. Service was extremely friendly and views are lovely. Ask for a window table.

Best place to eat in Twillingate. Give it a try if you are here.

Dined at 10 restaurants in NL and this was our only disappointment. The quality does not match the photos so lower your expectations. Arrived for a 6:30 pm dinner reservation and the lobster special was sold out! All the large groups were placed in tables by the window and all tables for 2 were placed at the back of the restaurant, so book for 4 if you want to a table with a view.

Ww had a family breakfast, peak season. Everyone got exactly what they wanted and it was delicious. I can't believe how good the hollandaise sauce is here. And the fruit preserves? Amazing. It's the quality and taste similar to that of an upscale hotel in a major city, it's that good.

First and last visit to this eatery. Don't order sea food chowder! It was awful ! For around fifteen dollars I got a bowel full of milk with two shrimps !! No fish, no clams/mussels, no scallops. Back home I got all of this for this $13.00 + I too got two nice rolls which too I did not get at George's. ( back home was Waves Sea Foods in Bridgewater N.S.)

Enjoyed immensely the pan fried cod with scrunchions & the root vegetables. Instead of the rice, I ordered the baby red potatoes - yum! Our server was very pleasant and attentive. One friend had the ginger apple soup which she said was delicious. Pricier than other restaurants in town but worth it. Would definitely go again.

I live in New Orleans, Louisiana so we have very high seafood standards. Georgie's was excellent. Excellent ingredients cooked well... a very simple formula for a perfect meal. I had the lobster, which is pretty standard. We also had the ginger and carrot soup (excellent) and the fish tacos (a local version of fish tacos... not like South of the Border, but excellent). The next day we returned and I had steak... great cut of meat! The potatoes and vegetables were excellent. My husband had the chicken...also done very well. I highly recommend visiting and booking in advance as this place is also a common large group destination and tables disappear quickly. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful!

Delicious family friendly restaurant in Twillingate. We had the fish and chips, which were ‘melt in your mouth’ delicious and the fisherman’s wharf, which stuffed our hungriest water (I hear that often this platter is shared). The staff were friendly and attentive. We came 45 min prior to our reservation but were kindly accommodated. Even the pickiest eaters were satisfied with their chicken fingers and fries (bonus: a dessert sundae was included in their meal). Highly recommended!
