“Almost a cross between a sit down restaurant and fast food. The place was very casual and friendly. The food was OK. It reminded me more of new Mexican food rather than Tex Mex. A little more bland tasting. Prices ok. The hot sauce and chips costs extra, but only 1.50. The hot sauce wasn't special. Tasted like spicy tomato sauce. Again, NewMex flavor.“

*UPDATE: I've lived in Artesia since 1979 and for the first and now the second time I've actually been able to catch this place open... the tacos are excellent!!! Nice n greasy and seasoned perfectly!! On my second trip, enjoyed the cheeseburger... best cheeseburger in Artesia!! I will now be removing the 1 star ⭐️ rating and giving this place 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.“

“I had driven to Guy Chevrolet to deliver a Chevrolet Pickup 1500 & receive an expensive GMC Pickup 2500 Sierra Denali to drive back to the Abilene TX Chevrolet/GMC/Buick dealership. I asked about a good place to eat. A lady at Guy recommended this restaurant. I was glad she told me about this place to eat outstanding Mexican cuisine. This mom & pop has served for 50 yrs. Patti was outstanding and pleasant to visit with! When driving through Artesia, I encourage everyone to try this restaurant that takes time to prepare your food from scratch.“

“It was a good experience. I ordered the Mexican combo with a veggie taco and spinach-and-cheese enchiladas. They didn’t have vegetarian beans (without chicken broth), which was a bit disappointing, but the ambiance made up for it. The servers were very kind and warm, and their in-house guacamole is a must-try.“
