The hostess was very helpful and kind despite us arriving late for our reservation and even gave us parking tips for next time.We ordered the lamb and steak frites both of which were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. “I had the jambalaya which tasted good the French onion soup which was cold and the cheese was hard. My son where did the sirloin steak put mashed potatoes and broccoli. He enjoyed the broccoli time of the steak was cold can the potato gravy was too “
“The food shines here. The croissant au jambon is a perfect brunch sandwich. Cafe au lait is served somewhat awkwardly in a giant bowl. I’m never blown away by the service - it takes a while to get seated and to get your drink, even water or coffee.“
“I love going to this place in the afternoon and having appetizers, tasting wine, and talking with friends. They have a lovely selection of wine flights. Almost all the wines bearing the Lescombes name--their reserve wines--are wonderful but pricey. The 921 line is middle priced and good. I especially like the rose. The food is uniformly tasty. I especially like the shrimp jalapeño bacon appetizer and the charcuterie. The winery in Deming is also worth a visit. I believe the Lescombes family makes the best wine in New Mexico.“
