“The food is great, the people are even better. They took care of our Civil Air Patrol encampment students and staff with precision and were very caring. Mr. Vick is to be commended and it's no wonder this facility has been recognized with the Hennessey Award so much. Thanks isn't enough for all they do.“

“Lunch was good! I don't often go to Thunderbird, but I had a chance to have lunch with a coworker.

When I go, I'm always intrigued by their sandwich of the day. They something on the grill, each day, that's unique and always very delicious.“

“I have only used the cafeteria about 30 occasions in my time at UNM. It has many options for food, including readily available soups, salads, sandwiches, varieties of entrees, and many vegetarian and even vegan options. It functions as efficiently as a high school cafeteria, except 1 swipe can get you access to seconds or thirds of food options. There is always plenty of seating in a spacious atmosphere, with upstairs and downstairs rooms. The staff is very friendly. If I had to complain about something, I would say that the spices and seasonings in sauces are not clearly defined and samples should be offered before staff pours it on top of the food before serving. It’s true that you can ask for sauce on the side, but misleading titles like “honey chicken sauce” communicate it’s a honey sauce, when really it is a white gravy consistency and has no honey in it whatsoever.“
