Me & hubby were looking for some delicious desserts and we stumbled upon Katrina's Ice Cream Shop downtown. My husband had a banana split and he got to choose the 3 flavors he wanted. He choose pistachio, coffee and mint. He absolutely loved his banana split. I had a waffle cone with 2 scoops of ice cream ( Ferrero Rocher & Chocolate Oreo ) that was absolutely amazing! A great place for delicious handmade ice creams & gelato! While there were traditional flavors like vanilla and cookies & cream, they excel at unusual flavors like lime, watermelon, pistachio, mango, and gansito! Their ice cream servers are very polite & helpful, providing recommendations & samples. They allowed me to get a single with 2 flavors: mango & chamoy, which turned out to be a delicious combination of not-too-sweet & savory! Great dessert shop! A lot of variety on what you can get, and they all look delicious. I ended up getting ice cream this time and man did it hit the spot. Ice cream was rich, fluffy, and has a pretty great flavor profile. The ice cream came with a waffle cone partially dipped in chocolate. Their single size ice cream was generous in portion too, and it only cost about $5. Would recommend coming if you are ever in the area.
