I tried their breakfast on this last visit and was very pleased with the Sierra plate. I'll try their breakfast burrito on our next visit. Service was very nice. They open at 8:00 but expect 8:10 before they are ready for you. Their cinnamon sopapillas are awesome.

La Sierra: New Mexican Restaurant is a cozy restaurant that feels like family. The comfortable and quiet atmosphere makes it a welcoming place to eat. Service is very nice, and every member of the staff that greeted or served were exceptionally friendly. The waitress was helpful in answering questions on a few menu items. Chips and salsa were delicious.
The food is very good and the portions are quite sizeable. The breakfast includes the Sierra plate, and the breakfast burrito is another option. The cinnamon sopapillas are awesome. The combo plate #2 w/christmas comes with a chile relleno, a cheese enchilada, a tamale, a taco, beans and spanish rice, and the spanish rice is perfect. The carne asada was very good, and the meat was tender and flavorful as were the refried beans. The smothered beef burrito with red sauce was a good portion with an ample amount of well-cooked beef, and the tortilla itself was so good and flavorful in its own right.
The food was timely after ordering and came very hot. The restaurant opens at 8:00 but expect 8:10 before they are ready for you. It is well worth it - in flavor and price.
