The Egg & I

This brunch restaurant gets packed! They are located on the intersection of Louisiana and Menaul, next to the Sheraton. My wife and I visited here on a Sunday, around 11:30 am, with my parents and son. We were quoted a wait for 25 minutes for our table of five, but after the hostess viewed my parents waiting outside in the hot sun, we were seated in five minutes. Put simply the best breakfast in town! Benedict's are awesome, I always add hollandaise on my potatoes. Oatmeal pan cake is GF and delicious, big enough to share or take home. The Rueben sandwich is the best I've ever had, so is the Chicken Spinach Salad, with homemade lemon vinaigrette! For an extra treat upload your potatoes, green chili, bacon, and cheese! Great atmosphere, food, and service! Enjoy you visit.

I'm a girl who loves an outstanding breakfast, so I was very happy that the Yelp app led me here to The Egg & I :-) Both their breakfast specials and their regular menu selections are excellent.
