The issue isn't with the donuts, those are good. The problem is the $25 for a dozen!!! The price is insane. Plenty of other shops offer half the price for the same quality. Again, the donuts are good but I won't be going back because of the cost. Just not worth THAT much..
Excellent location in Uptown. Parking can be a challenge. Very clean atmosphere. A few tables to sit down and enjoy your donuts and coffee. I was greeted by who I think was the owner who quickly took my order. I always judge a donut's quality by ordering a plain, cake donut and this one met my expectations. Been here twice. Unimpressed and won’t try again. Unsure why these are so highly rated. The vanilla old fashioned was pretty good (though could get a whole box of nearly as decent Franz for the same price as 1 donut here), chocolate old fashioned was inedible (tasted more grease than donut), Bismarck seemed stale. Great service, very nice staff. The goods were disappointing though. I miss Rebel.
