“Amazing affordable homecooked food. I got the breakfast burrito (8/10) and two pecan pancakes (9/10) with coffee. It was only $20 before tip, with good portions. It's small but very charming and cozy inside and the beautiful handmade tables and woodwork really add to the charm. Super friendly staff and patrons. I had a really great visit and I'll be sure to stop by next time I'm in this lovely town.”

“This is a nice little bar owned by pleasant people. Lots of personality in the art and aesthetic. They have wine supplied by St Claire and we got a bottle it was so good. They may have food options but you really go for the drinks and atmosphere”

“We had a large party that came in at 8:45 to celebrate a birthday and waited to be sat for a bit. May Lucero was our waitress and she was and always is awesome. Where most servers get annoyed at serving a large party so late in the evening, she served us with a smile and did a fabulous job! Servers should learn from her! We had a great evening because of her and she took great care of us.”

“This place is the definition of hidden gem! It’s really easy to just drive past, but do not do it! It is a 3rd generation family owned restaurant, making recipes handed down for over 70 years, and full of local arts and crafts for sale. My wife and I split the combo platter, which came with a taco, a chile relleno, two enchiladas, and rice and beans, and we had chips and salsa to munch on while we were waiting for our food. To call this the best Mexican food I’ve had is not an understatement. Even the chips and salsa were way better than any I have had in a restaurant before.

All of that food only cost $28, and we drove away very satisfied with everything about this wonderful place. If you’re lucky you’ll be able to hear the stories behind the local arts on their walls as well!”

“Absolutely worth it. Im skeptical about Mexican food because I love it hot hot. A lot of places claim to have spicy food, but it doesn't do anything for me. Ole Taco definitely hit spicy on the nail. The salsa has some decent kick. I ordered the adovada chimi and it was delicious. I also got the chile cheese fries and they had a good kick.”
