“Looking for a great little spot for breakfast? Look no further and head into Peña’s Place. The restaurant is small and definitely fills up but their food is worth the wait. From the friendly customer service to the delicious food you can’t go wrong. I had the breakfast burrito smothered in Christmas and I highly recommend. Also try their chips and salsa, it has a great bite to it.”

“We were visiting Ruidoso, New Mexico, and decided to stop by Lost Hiker Brewing for a quick drink—and we’re so glad we did! The atmosphere was fun and laid-back, and the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

They let us sample several of their beers and ciders, and we were really impressed with the variety and quality. Everything we tried was delicious—we had a hard time picking a favorite! This is definitely a great spot to relax and enjoy some unique, locally crafted drinks.

They also have some great merchandise like shirts and caps, and the owner was kind enough to give us some complimentary stickers, which was such a nice touch.

We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in town. Whether you're a craft beer lover or just looking for a chill place with great vibes, Lost Hiker Brewing is a must-visit in Ruidoso!”

“We had a large party that came in at 8:45 to celebrate a birthday and waited to be sat for a bit. May Lucero was our waitress and she was and always is awesome. Where most servers get annoyed at serving a large party so late in the evening, she served us with a smile and did a fabulous job! Servers should learn from her! We had a great evening because of her and she took great care of us.”

“Riding motorcycles from Colorado to see the area with a friend on his bike. Was my second time there. Went for lunch and had a great green chili stew. Guests were friendly to us even though we were kind of road worn. Food was excellent but the lady owner is what made the place.owner cook and tour guide all in one. She decided I should have a slice of pie. Of course I did. Asked her what kind and she said it started to be blueberry but she ran out so she added raspberries and it became mixed berries. As I was complimenting it to Gary my friend she said she thought I needed ice cream. A man never refuses a woman holding an ice cream scoop. Really good hour on the side of the road. Best wishes”
