“We ALWAYS plan a meal at Oso Grill when we stay in our Ruidoso cabin. The food is fresh, tasty, and original. The servings are attractively prepared and always delicious whether it’s salad, soup, sandwiches, or dessert. The restaurant is always filled with satisfied locals, and the service is superb.“

“Really enjoyed our steaks last night. We ordered the filet and the tenderloin medallions and both were cooked perfectly and flavorful. My husband said it was the most tender filet he’s ever had. Our service was great and our server, Shayla was kind and friendly. The staff were super attentive to clearing our plates, filling drinks and checking in on us. We definitely recommend stopping by here!“

“Grill Caliente does have the best Chile relleno I’ve ever had. I 100% agree with Marylou. It is breaded just how I like my rellenos, crispy. I also ordered the stuffed avocados. They were delicious as well. I highly recommended Grill Caliente. Great service and not too pricey.“

“Laura here...Ok, First, I rarely get to eat out because of my food allergies...but it was a special occasion. In that case, I usually I get a salad and sometimes even bring my own dressing. :( Just to be safe. I Was hoping for the gluten free cauliflower crust pizza, but, it had corn in it; a huge no-no for my food allergies/intolerances. So, I went for the Big Ole Salad. It was Especially special because the greens are locally grown hydroponically! It was wonderful. Better than Wonderful. Delightful! So, Here I am at a restaurant, EATING with friends,,,eating,, when I might usually only order a beverage!! I Was also very impressed that our server checked with me to be sure about the goat cheese on the salad due to my food allergies. The salad had "The best homemade balsamic vinaigrette on the planet." I swear! And my friend that is from Chicago said it was THE best pizza she's had since moving to New Mexico! I can't reccomend this place highly enough! I'll definitely be back!!“

“The dining room very scenic, wish we came here during horse racing time. The outside has places to bet, a small bar and a performing stage. The food was a little overcooked but good tasting. The service was haphazard, we didn't get our silverware till after we got our food. Our server Pretzel tried her best, very friendly and full of good information about the area. The casino was ok we broke even. They do have military discount.“

“The food is OK, a little greasy for me, the beer selection is very good compared to other places in the area. They have plenty of seating. There are pool tables and they have a live band after 8pm. People under 21 can't be there after 8 and that's when the kitchen closes as well. They also have lots of tvs for the sports guy.

“I had the chili wontons which were absolutely to die for Delicious! And I followed with the mixed fajitas. A serving so large, I took half of it home. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and will be back.

“What a wonderful way to spend New Year’s Eve. The new show is even better than last year. The food was fabulous. I plan to make this an annual event. As a local, it is as good as it gets for entertainment for the whole family.“
