I came in to ACEQ by myself, early for my reservation and luckily they were able to seat me right away in the main dining room. Note that the happy hour menu is only available in the bar.
All of the staff I interacted with were warm, polite and helpful. The drinks were perfect.
Overall the food was good, but there were a couple little details that made me decide on 4 stars, mostly because it's pricey and well regarded and the little things...

They need to figure out how to keep food warm before it gets to the table. First order of fries was cold, I mentioned it and they replaced them with even colder ones. Not sure if they just sat a long time or what. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

Heading up to Taos Ski Area is the small village of Arroyo Seco. This place is magical!
And in this very tiny village sits this lovely, sincere restaurant, Aceq.
They seem to pride themselves on wild caught, local, or farm specific…annd the staff each seem like owners!
We had a variety of offerings, including perfect cocktails, shareable plates, and entrees....
