“What the restaurant didn't have in quality, it made up with quantity and an amazing price. A huge enchilada plate -- stacked, New Mexico style -- was $9.29. A huge glass of iced tea added $3.00 (it was tasteless; I should have had water). The enchilada didn't have much flavor -- though the chicken tasted fresh -- and I could barely taste the chile. But the meal also came with a sopaipilla... which used to be a part of every meal at a new Mexican restaurant, but now most places charge a few dollars for one. I came in at 11:00 a.m. on a Wednesday, and the place was packed with people who looked like locals. If you're driving on to Farmington, you'll find a lot more choices there. Otherwise, is fulfill your stomach and go easy on your wallet!“
“My wife and I and my sister went there to listen to music and try their beer. The owner, a very nice professional lady greeted us at our table and offered us a complimentary sample set of their brews. Personally, I don’t care much for beer, much more a bourbon drinker, but my wife and sister loved their lager. First impressions are always the best. We will be back.“
“My husband and I go to Farmington, NM. SunRay Casino to go dancing, we go there twice a year.
They usually have a lousy band, but this time, they had quite a welcome and inviting music. The band was Zia SunRise; it was such a delight. They played awesome Mexican music, which we love, we go to any Rancheros, Cumbia, or salsa dance music. Yes, they do Country to dance two steps, too. We had a lovely time 💕.“

“Met at The Wooden Nickel for our high school reunion. They were amazing! They saved tables for us and decorated! It was a great surprise. Especially with planning everything else we didn't have time to do that. Thank you guys for a fun night!“
