What the restaurant didn't have in quality, it made up with quantity and an amazing price. A huge enchilada plate -- stacked, New Mexico style -- was $9.29. A huge glass of iced tea added $3.00 (it was tasteless; I should have had water). The enchilada didn't have much flavor -- though the chicken tasted fresh -- and I could barely taste the chile. Cool kitschy place with a great Coca-Cola and NM rodeo collection. It was fun to look around at everything. The menu was primarily NM style Mexican food. I was excited to see meals from my childhood on the menu. The presentation was good. I tried the stuffed sopapilla, hubby had the combo plate, and our kiddo had the cheese crisp. My wife had the taco special, I had a Navajo taco. Huge portions! You can taste the home made flavor and texture, we shared often because it was so good. Taco shells did not break but almost melted in my mouth, not sure I've ever had anything so good! Green chile sauce on Navajo taco was wonderful!
