A Manager named “Brenda” (worst excuse of a manager) was rude at window because I didn’t want to pull up to Parking spot when I was the only person in the drive-thru at the time. Made a scene at the window and then not even a min later hands me my order which turned out to be wrong when I had already gotten home to sit down and eat. I was missing food, didn’t have any syrup for the hotcakes and then the sweet tea was unsweetened. I went back since nobody answers the phone to try to rectify the situation by just replacing the sandwich and hash brown that was missing and yet still received an attitude by requesting for my sweet tea with her response of “Another Sweet Tea!!?” Then didn’t even give me my receipt. I had to request for it back so I could leave. Two years and I haven’t had an issue til today. Sad that’s she’s management and suppose to be the face of the establishment acting the was she does with people. Smh

The food is a hit or miss. You can Either get really good food or sometimes over Cook. But overall fast.

Definitely better than the Burger King just down the street that I happened to work at because I asked for a large drink after mobile ordering something that didn't have a drink and the employee that I asked he just gave me the cup

Order is never right. I only come here because my boys like chicken nuggets and they can't even get that order right! Always having to pull up and wait even when there's only 2 cars in the drive through.

What is wrong with this place? Are they trying to save money on not giving you a straw? The food is always falling apart. A lot of the time the FF are not even to the top of the FF box. Carlsbad is already expensive but then to pay higher prices at fast food to only be giving half and no straws ever!!!!!

Vegetarian options: The food quality has gone down!! Cold food!! Long waiting times for food!! I wouldn't recommend!! Try other places before you get McDonald's!!

"Please pull forward to wait" is their motto at nearly every McDonald's, even if you're the one and only car in the drive-through. If their ridiculous attempt to trick their system/algorithms into thinking they "took care of customers in less than 60 seconds" actually works, then frustrating their customers to death is the cost (not that they care about that part).

Do not go to this mcdonalds service slow, horrible customer service always get order wrong and when you tell them they got order wrong they act like they don't understand English, horrible management I do not recommend, go to mcdonalds on pierce st, also dirty restaurant I seen a mouse and roaches running on the floor

I visited this McDonalds around 10:25pm, which is about 45 minutes ago. It’s 12/10/24. I usually have a good experience at this location. I know at this time I will mainly find employees who only speak Spanish, but I’m ok with it since I’m bilingual. However, what I can’t take is the attitude of some of them. It seems that they easily get upset when one asks for some extra condiments or if one has a question about the order…then they get ready to argue. Today was not the exception. My wife and I each had a mobile order. The employee at the first window was very friendly. When I got to the second window, the employee, a lady, gave me the first order (my wife’s) while saying “here it goes” in spanish . Then I asked her for ketchup (in spanish) and without a word, she gave me some packets. She closed the window and saw her putting a straw in the bag of the second order. Then I stayed there, waiting for the order, she opened the window and nodded (no words) at me like “what do you need?”. I told her “I have two orders” and she replies with an attitude and seemingly annoyed: “well you need to tell me that! You need to tell me that you have two orders! How am I supposed to know?” My point is, they need to be trained better to be able to offer good customer service. As for me, I’ll give this McDonalds another chance.

I just left this location on New Year’s Day at 10 pm the holiday hours state open til 11. My husband walked up to the door and the employees were playing in the back looking at him and laughing. They already had the drive thru lights and screens off. All these workers definitely had to of been clocking hours that they were open but definitely closed early. I drove to the other location and they were open til 11 like it said for holiday hours.
