Burger was good, nice big patty cooked perfect. Got the chile relleno burger and tasted good but a little disappointed the chile had no heat. Fries were great as always, one of my favorite places for fries. Friendly service, place was relatively clean. Will keep going by for sure.

If I'm in Tijeras NM I always make it a point to go to Burger Boy for lunch. Today like any, did not disappoint. I ordered the Sopa cheeseburger with green chile and fries. Came out hot, juicy, and delicious. Great hidden gem in the east mountains.

I've been going to burger boy for years and it has always been top notch, but with the recent changes of ownership it has been less than sub par. I know change is hard so I have given it many chances burgers are always raw in the middle I have asked several times to cook it well done and still red center just not like it used to be. So it's been several months since I last been there and I decided well I'll stop in and grab dinner the worst beans and rice I have ever seen let alone eaten they were so dry beans were like stucco absolutely disgusting how anyone could even serve that was beyond my understanding. Frito pie was horrible again dry beans in a cup ice cold by the way like straight outta the fridge cold meat too no cheese never again!! Such a bummer another legacy down the tubes. 😟

Best burgers in NM! However, I usually get the fish sandwich… DANK! Never had a fish sandwich that good!! Highly recommended.

Best burgers! I had a green chile bacon cheese burger and my husband had the chile relleno burger. Everything was 10/10 and worth the 40 minute drive. Bathrooms could use some attention. But I’m guessing it was maybe busier than normal since it was Mother’s Day.

I had a cheeseburger and fries. The wait was extremely long for a CB and fries. Yes I know good food takes time. I’m sure at one point Burger Boy was special place to get an awesome burger. Just average now.

DIRTY. Everything was SO DIRTY. The bathroom was filthy. I didn’t order anything. Hubs got a dry burger. The fries were hot though. Definitely don’t recommend.
We were traveling to Arizona when we found Burger Boy. The burger is excellent, just like homemade! Fries could use improvement.

I bought two meals and the burgers were okay, but not worth the price. The shakes were good but very expensive, and the fries were cold, not even warm and uneatable. Not a pleasant experience. Very expensive. I will not be back.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long and regret not trying it sooner! The green chile cheeseburger is so delicious and juicy. The fries come out so hot crispy. My husband got the special, the sopa burger. He said it was great. The weather was perfect to sit on the patio with the mountain view. I will be returning soon to my new favorite burger joint.

I heard good things here decided to give it a try. I ordered 2 relleno burgers after tips $40ish. The burgers are terrible they have no flavor whatsoever. The rellenos were still cold and undercooked and unfortunately my partners burger was also very undercooked. For the price it was pure disappointment in a bun and unfortunately she and i did end up sick afterwards.
We get it you can get busy but rushing food is bad for everyone and this was rushed.
I dont recommend eating here and ill never be back personally. But if you decide to give it a go the shakes seemed enjoyed by the other customers inside so might be worthwhile.
Bright side is its very old school which is nice and the staff is friendly enough but thats all this place has going for them.
