This was by far the worse food I’ve ever had. I was so excited to try it, I walked in to place my order, paid $34.00 plus $7 tip. I ordered carne asada with a shredded beef enchilada, rice and beans. What we got was a flour tortilla with some dry shredded beef with tons of melted cheese. No sauce, no salsa, there was maybe two tablespoons of very dried out rice, beans that probably came out of a can. I also ordered a chimichanga…again same dried out shredded beef with no taste at all, please trust me….this was the worse food I’ve ever had, we couldn’t even give it to our dogs. I asked the young man as I walked out with my food if there was salsa in the bag he said “yes”NOPE NO SALSA NO CHIPS 👎
The mariachi sculptures were charmingly displayed outdoors, creating a delightful atmosphere. The outdoor seating was lovely, the food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Delicious, fresh, and healthy vegan options. We had the tacos and tostada and both were amazing. The un-pork is super yummy! Will definitely be stopping by again when I'm in the East Mountains, and it was tasty enough for me to want to go out of my way from Albuquerque for takeout.

Had breakfast chilaquiles today. So good and so authentic! I have been wanting chilaquiles for some time and so glad we found this place. Haven’t had authentic chilaquiles since I was in Galveston over 10 years ago. So many restaurants use tortilla chips instead of frying tortillas. You guys do it right! Thanks for a delicious meal.

Vegetarian options: The calabacitas were amazing. They tasted carmelized.
Dietary restrictions: My allergies are not common, but they were patient with me and helped me order.

A hidden gem. Seriously good food. We try to get there in the morning because I love the chiliquiles. Get red and add adovada. And get the calabacitas burrito. Or even better, add the calabacitas to the chiliquiles.
But everything is good.

El Mariachi in cedar crest is hands down the best Mexican Restaurant in the east mountains!! Right next to RIBS every plate I have tried is so savory! It reminds me of home cooked meal from Tacos to posole, to burgers and tortas anything you order you will love. Ozzy is always so welcoming and we will forever be customers. You have to come down and try them it's worth the drive they will not disappoint

We come here often cuz the people that own it are great! But I had not gotten a breakfast burrito here in a while. I just went back this morning for one and they changed their recipe. I have to say I think it was the BEST burrito I have ever had in my life. The cheese they use now is insanely good (it's like the cheese they use for queso fundido I think) and their tortillas are so so fresh and tasty. With every bite I kept saying to myself "omg this is so good!" I didn't want it to end lol. I typically get the fish tacos cuz those are also my favorite but I'll be back for that burrito in the mornings. 😋 glad they are only a few minutes from my house. What a little gem this place is! Wish I got a picture but I couldn't stop eating it and I didn't think to take one.
