Stopped in twice this week and, both times, had the greatest burger ever. Will be visiting at least once more before I leave town. Excellent food, excellent service. Excellent place all around.

My son and I stopped here to grab a burger after putting it a day of skiing at Sandia. He got a burger and I got the Philly cheesesteak and they were both excellent! The local brews are awesome and they even have a pool table. If you want to get a game in before you leave! Highly recommend stopping here for a meal!

Great dinner! Highly recommend the fried zucchini, veggie focaccia sandwich, Philly cheesesteak. Sweet potato fries are super crispy and worth the extra charge.Vegetarian options: Focaccia sandwich, beyond beef burger, adult grilled cheese, salad

We stopped here while driving down theTurquoise trail from Santa fe. The bartender was nice. She was telling us about how the locals but each other drinks, and it gets written on a whiteboard. We had a burger and a blt. They were both great.

Usually it is nice. The bands play great music. Last time I went the bartender was oddly rude. She told me to look at the wall if I wanted to know what beers they carried. Then I asked if I could order a couple of corn hogs. She said that I could not order that plate from the kids menu because I wasn't under 10. I asked if I could have tater tots with ketchup. She asked me if I was serious. I really didn't understand what happened with this lady. But I will go back to the Lazy Lizard because the atmosphere is good.

They used to make calzones. That made the place unique. But they don't anymore.
Appropriate named "Lazy" the waitress told us the outside area was closed but it was obviously not because there was another couple eating outside. I didn't stay to check out the food. I had to add a star for the review.

I'll start with the positives: location, laid back vibe, beer selection.Negatives/needs help in these areas:SERVICE-our server was a petite goth girl, SO soft spoken (inaudible at times) & not personable. The staff were behind on bussing tables even though it wasn't busy.AMBIANCE- muggy, hot. No AC or fans (at least it felt that way) Which was weird because it was a beautiful, temperate, fresh day in the mountains! They need to open some windows.Lighting is awkward. It was dim, but not in a purposeful way. The colored lights above bar are out of place. Soft white lights would help. Way too many things cluttering the walls. The lizards are cute, but all the signage, dry erase boards, fake plants, Knick knacks, are tacky. The two tone grey on grey walls are not helping the lighting or vibe. Should have done white paint to brighten up the space.FOOD- meh. The buns for both sandwiches were cold/not fresh tasting. Almost as if they grilled the buns then stored them in the fridge for later. Weird. That threw off everything about the food. The price point did not match the quality whatsoever.I write this review as constructive feedback, in hopes they can improve. The LL deserves to be a successful business and I know they could do better if they cared & tried just a little bit more.

It's a good option for a neighborhood bar. Their biggest plus is the live music. They have a pretty good beer collection but I have not tried their food yet.

We have dinner here almost every Friday night. Every meal has been excellent and the beer is very cold. Sitting on the patio is a beautiful sight. Stop by and see for yourself.

The atmosphere is breath taking near the crest, the service is great and fast. The food is the best, I had the fish and shrimp basket and it came with a honey, marmalade dip that was delicious.
