I used to recommend LR to hikers and birders looking for a packed lunch. However, I was shocked to see that they listed themselves on PublicSquare as a MAGA "anti-DEI" business. I will let you be the judge but it has definitely soured us on eating there now. Note that this is something a business has to initiate - it's not a list compiled by random people.
I love this place! Whenever someone visits us, we always bring them to Lantern Ridge and it becomes one of their favorites too. The incredible plant nursery seems like it gets bigger every week!
A couple of weeks ago I took my wife to Lantern Ridge for a birthday brunch hoping to enjoy a full service sit-down meal. We walked into the main building, which was loaded with products on shelving, and had a to-go counter to order coffee and pastries, but we could not find any sit down restaurant to order from the menu posted here on facebook and the web site.
Everybody working there was too busy to talk to us. No signage directing visitors to any sit down restaurant...read full review
