The Food is OK. The service is not. Very rude employees. But as chama often has limited choices, especially in the evening, it may be your only choice for a hot meal in town. I'd give the food 4 stars, service 2 stars for an average 3 star rating.
If you want a damn good burger with nice crispy fries this is the place for you! The inside is closed but the drive-thru is open and ready to serve! This isn't McDonald's so don't expect to order and drive away. I would say we waited maybe 10min but I'm ok with that and the food was delicious! I'll probably sneak out again before they close and get another.
Really surprisingly good! Don’t judge the place by its appearance. The crispy chicken sandwich was really good, as were the fries. Buddy said their burger was the best he’s had in a while.CDT thru-hikers: They were drive-thru only when we hikers went, but just stand in the drive thru like a car and they’ll play along. Worth it.
I have never been disappointed at Chama Grill! Today I tried their fish sandwich. Great! Bread was soft ciabatta and fresh, fish just right, and the perfect amount of lettuce gave it a nice crunch.
This is the second time I've gone to eat at the Chama Grill and the lady that is doing the cashiering her name is Thalia I'm not sure if I have her name right has been full of attitude she should not be working the window if she does not know customer service.... she also had the nerve to tell me that I didn't need to come and eat there any longer
A quick stop for a good green chili cheese burger and fries. I suppose this is Chama fast food. Though it is not always fast - which points to the fact they are making orders as they are placed. At least that is my experience - 3x in the last year.
Randomly drove the scenic way home and had an amazing stop there. The green Chile swiss burger was fantastic. The fries, tots, salad, and chicken sandwich were all great too. Great little find, would definitely drive that way again.
Worst experience came to order nothing on the menu was ready the lady was very rude. It's a place of service if your not prepare to serve customers and don't have food ready don't open your door. SIMPLE!!!
Ordered cod fish sandwich, frito pie, vanilla milk shake and amazed by the quality and freshness of the food!! We are going to be frequent flyers as we are staying here for work. Cod fish was soooo fresh, Frito pie was flavorful and vanilla shake tasted like cake!!! The customer service was was super nice and and and didn’t have to wait for my food however It would be worth it if we had too!
Chama Grill serves one of the best green chile cheeseburgers (with bacon!) in New Mexico, bar none. The service is great and it’s fast, they always get your order right, and your fries are always seasoned well and served hot. If you’re exceptionally hungry, ask for the “double” deluxe green chile cheeseburger; you’ll thank me later. If you’re in Chama after normal business hours, Chama Grill may be one of the last (and best) places to eat in town, and they’re open all year. I make it a point to stop by and get lunch here whenever I’m in Chama.Do yourself a favor and stop by Chama Grill the next time you’re in town. You won’t be disappointed.

Was a good service, served me 10 mins after the closing time. Great fries and burger! Would definitely recommend to anyone whom is going to Chama.
Awesome Hamburgers. The wait is kinda long but it's worth it for the hamburgers. Will be definitely returning. ?

Small town eatery, nothing fancy. Very glad they're open till 7 at least. The Green Chili Cheese Fries were amazing.
We saw they opened at 11a.m., it was closed but employees inside. We were 1 of 3 customers waiting in parking lot. We decided to wait due to fact we were headed bk to Farmington and wanted a straight shot drive. We had to wait till 11:30 for drive thru to open and it took forever..then by noon were were ready to eat but needed a fork for the smothered tots. My hubby went in, since they now had opened door, asking for forks..20 minutes later..after I had finished my burger..and tots were cold he returned with 1 fork. We will not be stopping there again when we stop in Chama.
