We stopped by for a late lunch and it started pouring rain while we were on the porch! They took great care of us. My mom said their tacos were just like her mother used to make, and the Taos Turkey sandwich was so delicious. Definitely eat here when you get a chance!

We had a large party, including starving kids. We had already try to go to other restaurants in town, but it was rigged in our favor. Because this restaurant got us seated right away, and had AMAZING FOOD! The service was fast and fantastic! If you are going thru Chama, stop at this place. I’d give them More than 5 stars if I could
Is it Elk Horn Cafe or Elk Horn Restaurant? Either way, it's a purveyor of delicious food and friendly service. My wife raved about the french fries and enjoyed her green chile burger. The ground-beef enchiladas were good (as opposed to great), and I really enjoyed the rice and beans. Smallish glasses and my great thirst after a hot day's work both contributed to the downing of a half-dozen iced teas!
We went on a Monday night - special hours - and we'd love to have this place as a regular dinner option in Chama.
