Made a stop at the mercantile in the small town of Cimarron en route to Denver. It was such a cute place with a direct menu that made deciding what to eat so much easier. It was brunch time, so I had the panini. You build it the way you want it. I selected sourdough with roast beef, tomatoes, Swiss cheese, and a side of the green chile aioli. Not bad, I would definitely recommend the breakfast panini if you’re here for breakfast since they do not offer any “big breakfast” options but I would recommend this establishment if you’re looking for a quick breakfast meal.

Nice to see another food option in Cimarron. Good lunch options with sandwiches and salads. And ice cream or shakes for dessert. Reasonably priced with quick service. Plenty of seating and next door to St. James Hotel. Not open for dinner.
