Friendly waitstaff, good home style cooking, and bar is a hoot at night. The burgers had were tasteless. The green chili was from a can, and the patty’s are frozen and way under seasoned. We used to really enjoy the place, but I don’t want to eat under dryer filthy dollar bills that hang from the low ceiling. What make it worse is the high top tables. So you feel the closing in of the dirt.
Local and only bar in Cloudcroft. It’s usually packed during the weekends or whenever tourists are in town. It’s covered in $1 dollar bills that guests write their names in or a bit and then staple it to the wall or ceilings. It gives the place a fun atmosphere.They do have pool tables and a dart board. It was weekend before Labor Day, so not sure if this happens every weekend. We were seated pretty quickly but waited 2 hours to get our meal from the time we ordered it. Worst part, all that wait and it wasn’t even good food.
