So the cook HELL OF Great Genius ? ?. Juan has been chopping, dicing and slicing for a while. Great background ? he has for the food he puts out. The beer selection is really great ? ? ? as well. If you ever in the village pop in and Enjoy the food, beer and views. Staff is very friendly and quick.
My wife had the salmon tacos and I had the salmon artichoke salad and they were very good!My salad had minced olives and a large piece of fish. The sweet potato fries we shared came is a large basket which was very good for sharing. We didn’t try any but the list of 18 beers on the chock board sounded interesting. We will definitely be back!
This was our first time visiting this place, unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The food was not the worst I've had but the service was beyond terrible. From having to ask them to clean the table before they sat use down, to taking forever to get us coffee and water. Our food took forever and it was cold. Some of our dishes we not cooked properly. The service crew had had such a bad attitude that when we asked for a coffee refill that we had waited for 10 minutes, we were told that they were making sure to get us fed..so I guess customers are a nuisance to the poorly mannered crew who by the way move as a sloth pace. I wish I would have read some reviews before setting a foot here. Longevity is not a sign of great quality. The fact they have been open for so many years is surprising to me, unless this is set up for people who don't care about good service. Will not visit ever again. My advice is to avoid doing it as well.
Found this nice place when I planned on checking out the HARVEST Fest last autumn. The Fest was canceled but we needed to eat.Came back a few days ago. They had new people. A fill menu. A nice bar. Talked with regulars and felt very welcomed to come back..They made my stay-at-home-vacation exemplary. This is why it's nice to try new places out and about in your own back yard..Well visit again.Thank you.
Albuquerque turkey sandwich is super. Service is attentive and prompt. GREAT PRICES.
Its 5/8/22. We got here at 1:30pm. We've been here almost an hour and still waiting be served our meals. Our drinks are empty, we have to get the bartender to refill our drinks after waiting for at least 45 minutes for our waitress to. We've hardely seen our waitress other than to take our order. Great menu, but the service is NOT good! Be prepared to wait and wait and wait....We couldn't eat outside because all the tables were full of left over food, the same for inside. The tables are full of dirty plates on the tables. They don't have a busser to take away the dirty dishes. After an hour and 15 minutes, we finally got our food and it wasn't even that good. Its not even busy right now between 1:30pm and 3pm so I'm not sure what the issue is. Avoid this place unless you like to wait and enjoy subpar food. Its now almost 3:05 and we finally just received our check. Multiple people are walking out.Its now 3:20pm and were still waiting for our waitress to cash out of check so we can leave this place. Its 3:25pm and were FINALLY leaving and NEVER, EVER coming back.
Visited the facility today for my first time. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The negative reviews I read would have kept me away except we were meeting some friends. The staff was very cordial, attentive and did a good job for us. The food exceeded our expectations. The music was enjoyable. People who write such negative reviews need a little compassion , understanding and patience. The pandemic has caused many problems beyond anyones control. I will be back.
I ordered the duck tacos, which supposedly had "asian slaw" on them and a miso/ginger glaze. The slaw was chopped cabbage and carrots. No dressing, no cilantro, no green onions, no onions at all. The duck was fine, and the blue corn tortillas looked homemade, but had been fried in oil to warm them, so they were greasy. As for that glaze, there was one dot of it on a raw piece of cabbage. The beans had no flavor, like they just dumped them out of a can. As for the cilantro pesto rice, there was no cilantro, no pesto, some slivered almonds, but bland. Bland rice, bland beans, bland slaw. Maybe they were having an off day, maybe the supply chain has posed problems with cilantro, onions, etc., but really. Just embarrassing. Service was good.
Very slow to no service. We had to ask to get our table wiped off. We sat for 15 minutes before we stop a young man and ask to get some menus and we finally got up and went inside to get our own drinks. Bartender was super nice. I don't think we will go back.
Great menu. Lots of menu choices for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. There is an ample list of beers from local breweries. Laid back, casual atmosphere is enhanced by live music many nights. The wait staff is efficient polite and friendly. Customers have the choice of indoor or patio dining. Corrales Bistro is a good choice for a casual meal in charming Corrales, New Mexico

Would really love to eat at and go to this place, but every time we try to go, they are closing. Just walked in at 5:30 pm on a Sunday and they were doing last call for food and alcohol. This is not the first or second or even third time this has happened to us here. There were plenty of other people wanting to sit down too, so the business is there. I don't get it. Most people don't even eat dinner till 5:30, why in the world would you make that last call? I would love to have a restaurant type option other than Ex Novo where you can sit and listen to live music.....but with this kind of management, Ex Novo is going to put this place out of business.
3rd time in 2 months. Lunch this time. Fries were old and cold. Food was just lifeless. Had the green chile Hamburger. I could see the chili but no taste. I really wished it was better on the 3rd try.
Was in the mood for a beer and burger lunch. Hadn't been there before, but a buddy's band played there once in a while, and he said it was a good place Never made it down there before, but decided to try it this past Friday. Easy access & parking. First thing I noticed was good blues background music. Nice relaxing setting inside & outdoor patio with view of the Sandia Mountains. Was pleasantly surprised with the menu and on tap beer selections. After taking in the menus wide selections I switched from burger & beer to a "Pancho Greenblat" and beer lunch. Found that hot pastrami, NM green chile and a tortilla seem to go together well and when paired with a pint of "Red Iron" draft, the perfect lunch. Their fries were different & a pleasant surprise. A mix of sweet potato & white potato fries topped off the lunch. Add decent service & the Corrales Bistro & Brewery is now on my go to list. Enjoyed another beer out on the patio to top it off. Priced affordably for the quality of food and wide range of good beers.
Awesome time and great service
We went to the Corrales Bistro Brewery for a mid week breakfast. The restaurant has a unique layout with larger tables down the middle and several booth/table combinations off to the side. Only several tables were occupied when we arrived, but other people gradually came in later. The menu is very good with lots of options, both New Mexican and standard American. I had a breakfast burrito with ham ($9.50) and my wife had a dish called “Garden” ($9), which was a small portion of hash browns topped with vegetables and chile. We did not wait long to have the meals served. My burrito was OK, but nothing special. I had the red chile sauce, but it tasted more like an enchilada sauce. My wife ordered “Christmas” but there was only one medium sized chunk of green chile and the remainder was the aforementioned red sauce. Both of us ordered the hash browns to be crispy, but they weren't. Overall, the food was OK, not bad or good. The service, however, was spotty. While the waitress was friendly, she was not attentive. We had to chase her down twice, once to get “to go” boxes, and shortly thereafter to get our bill. The prices were in line with most other breakfast places in Albuquerque. I would have to rate it as a very average restaurant.
