We happened upon Peres’s one Saturday last autumn , and their menu was a perfect example of selections that can be made for vegans, vegetarians or meat eaters. Jack had Posole made only with vegan ingredients and I had a classic potato stew. At the top of the menu they say the entrees can be vegetarian, chicken or beef. This was a great find. The food was vegetarian and very clean. The posole I had a great flavor and the vegetable stew that had a great flavor as well!The building it is in was built in the 1800 and the same family has owned and ran the establishment for 80 years!Highly recommended!!Vegetarian options: It seemed like just about everything could be ordered vegetarian!

Favorite little neighborhood bar and gathering place. The owner, John, is a gem, as is all of his staff. We are always greeted with kindness, wonderful service, and appreciation. The chicken enchilada casserole is my all time favorite.
