“The food and most of the staff we’re great. One of the staff started a debate about Mexican and New Mexican foods not served. No potatos in NM ? What and Perea family being the oldest in the state. We all have roots girl but learn your facts. You do serve Mexican here, flan is Mexican. But became an argument not a place for this made the meal less enjoyable to bad.“

“My first time eating at Santiagos on Eubank. At first I was scared to go inside. The outside has bars (criminals can't get it) on the windows and a lot of writing and pictures on the windows which looked tacky. The front of the building could use a pick me up makeover and such. The owner made a customer move from a four seat table to a two seat table and said it was because of the rush hour. I did enjoy the food though! I ordered a breakfast burrito and was dreaming I was going to get fried potatoes, but it was a very light serving of hash browns inside. I will definitely be back to try their other food.“

“If you get there early enough, you get a nice table. Their food is first rate New Mexican style food. Not Mexican, NEW Mexican. there is a huge difference. Even after they left the bowling alley, they have managed great food at a great price. Staff is always friendly, fast and efficient. The Chile con queso is fantastic. The salsa never lets you down. While the portions are more than I can eat anymore they have lighter dishes that still deliver. If you get there after 6, you will have a wait ~ but it's worth it!!!“

“The food and service were great. The only issue had nothing to do with the restaurant. We were driving an RV pulling a trailer and parking was interesting. My brother and sister were in another vehicle and spoke with someone in the restaurant, and we were given a spot to park the 60 foot long behemoth. So, they helped to solve an issue that wasn't their problem. Great Food and Great People!“

“This restaurant is a gem! Family run, and the most delicious food! We've been going there for over twenty years and recently had them cater our daughter's wedding. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of on the special night. We can't recommend them enough!“

“I decided to try a new local restaurant for breakfast today and had heard really good things about Mick's Chile Fix, and since I was looking for a good chile fix I decided to try it. This place is awesome. I ordered takeout but the diner was super quaint and comfortable, it looked like a fantastic place to have brunch and it smelled amazing! The little gift store they had on the side was super cute too. I ordered a regular sausage breakfast burrito smothered in red and the portions they gave me were absolutely massive. Definitely a 2-day breakfast. The red chile is really rich and flavorful, I'd say a medium heat with enough kick to make my nose run, and the meal was delicious. 12/10 would recommend to anyone looking to support a local Mom&Pop-style restaurant while getting Grade-A+ New Mexican food at the same time. Will have to try the rest of their menu.“

The manager even went out of his way to call the head chef at another location just to double-check everything for us. “Don’t sleep on this place Albuquerque. It’s good. I had the asada burrito last time and it’s big and really good. This time I had the fajitas, chicken and shrimp. Super good. Generous servings. And if they are cleaning the ceiling tiles you know it’s gotta be clean. That’s what I look for. A restaurant that cares about cleanliness.“

“Our server, Benjamin was new to his position but went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The bartenders were so great, taking care of an elderly gentleman who left his card at the bar. The bartender also made sure the lighting was corrected when someone made an error as it became dark outside. We will definitely come back to this location!“

“My wife, myself, and MIL had dinner at Eloy’s last night. They did not disappoint even with the new owners. The rice and beans had the perfect amount of spices and the sour cream enchiladas were awesome! We have often been a patron of Eloy’s and we will continue to support this restaurant. “Great place for authentic food. Went there to visit based on recommendations from our Ballon pilot. Food was absolutely the best. I had the western omelet. Others has the enchiladas. Tortillas were made fresh, guacamole was made fresh, everything tasted wonderful. Ana was super friendly and polite, made sure we were take care of. Floating on Basil made its return from last year’s summer menu- basil infused vodka, lemon juice, pineapple juice, soda water, and house made strawberry simple syrup 😍 The drinks are incredible, the bartenders are fantastic, and The Kitchen at Left Turn makes the most delicious fresh chicken nuggets I’ve ever had- make sure you get the housemade green chile dip to go with them!!“
