“We happened upon Peres’s one Saturday last autumn , and their menu was a perfect example of selections that can be made for vegans, vegetarians or meat eaters. Jack had Posole made only with vegan ingredients and I had a classic potato stew. At the top of the menu they say the entrees can be vegetarian, chicken or beef. The restaurant itself was cozy and had a bar plus outdoor eating area. The food was delicious, not too oily and sizable potions. Additional note: the restroom was designed with antique cabinets and decor suitable for this historic building.“

“I ordered the ribeye and a Caesar salad. The ribeye was delicious and cooked perfectly. The salad was a good size and very tasty. The atmosphere pays homage to the stories history of Corrales - check out the pictures in the restrooms. We are on the patio which was very cozy. Highly recommended!“

“We have tried to eat every Mexican (not NM) restaurant in the city and have been disappointed by all. Today we ate at Ramona’s Mexican Cafe off of Jefferson, it was PERFECT!!! The service was extremely patient, helpful, kind and attentive. EVERY plate we ordered was fresh, homemade and delicious. The aguas are fresh and not too sweet and made with real ingredients rather than powders. Salsas and chips were homemade and so delicious. My husband had the combo plate with an enchilada, relleno, and tamale. I had the posole, and my son had the queso tortilla smash burgers. I’ve been very critical of places we’ve ate at. I miss fresh, homemade food at restaurants. Everything now tastes frozen and store bought. Not Ramona’s, it was obviously homemade with pride! I’m so impressed! We’ll be back!“

“A classic example of how Google can help plan a vacation. Had one night in Albuquerque and wanted traditional New Mexican cuisine and Mary & Tito’s was a home run. The food was fresh, hot and incredibly delicious. The only thing that topped the food was the friendliness of the entire staff. Amazing experience!“

“Al pastor tacos were dry and seemed like the crumbs from the bottom of the pan. My wife got tamales and enchiladas, and they were also dry. I ordered a tres leches to go and got this tiny, beat-up piece. The cake was dry and tasted very sour. I have been here for lunch, and all of the food was fresh and tasted good. Maybe the food was sitting too long and not cooked fresh.“

“I would say this place is an 11 out of 10. I say that because the food was aabsolute 10 but the service what's spectacular. I went during a Lunch rush And it was very busy but the woman working was very calm and efficient. The flavors here are what dreams are made of. Carne asada tacos are loaded with tender beef and topped with white onions and cilantro. The enchiladas were stuffed with flavorfull chicken and smothered in mouthwatering red sauce and topped with cheese. The red and green chili here is packed with flavor and just the rite amount heat. This is my new favorite place and i wont even bother with the rest. Papa Nachos is the best!“

“New to the area and it's one of the best places. So far everything I've ordered was awesome, my personal favorite is their huevos rancheros. Only downside is the owner is really vocal about politics with some other customers. Even though I agree with him I definitely can't bring my parents in so we'll have to stick to our original after church spot for now.“

“I decided to try a new local restaurant for breakfast today and had heard really good things about Mick's Chile Fix, and since I was looking for a good chile fix I decided to try it. This place is awesome. I ordered takeout but the diner was super quaint and comfortable, it looked like a fantastic place to have brunch and it smelled amazing! The little gift store they had on the side was super cute too. I ordered a regular sausage breakfast burrito smothered in red and the portions they gave me were absolutely massive. Definitely a 2-day breakfast. The red chile is really rich and flavorful, I'd say a medium heat with enough kick to make my nose run, and the meal was delicious. 12/10 would recommend to anyone looking to support a local Mom&Pop-style restaurant while getting Grade-A+ New Mexican food at the same time. Will have to try the rest of their menu.“

“We thought our Lyft driver was taking us to the Sadie's in Ild Town, but we ended up here, at the original (founded 1954). We'd been advised both to try the queso, and also warned that the portions were huge. Both good advice! I had a coconut margarita, which was sweet and delicious.

Vegetarian options: Maybe not so great for vegans (unless they can leave the cheese off everything) but one of our party was a vegetarian and there were a number of options.

Parking: Located pretty far out from downtown, a $17.00 Lyft ride.

Kid-friendliness: Big and probably pretty noisy at its fullest so kids could scream and cry as much as they'd like!

“The best food ive like ever had, when i was in highschool i would chose to walk here for lunch w my friends risking being late to my next class the food is that good. Its definatly a core memory for me and what got me thruough majority of highschool. I wouldnt be here right now if it werent for this very resturant. I still remember the food warming my stomach during the harsh winter mornings. This resturant was here for me when no one else was, i have so many fond moments here and am hoping to make so many more. There are no combinations of words that will ever truely explain my love for this place. 11/10 i would recomend to anyone who enjoys being happy.
