“The absolute BEST huevos rancheros I’ve had in a very long time. Complemented by smashed roasted potatoes that I’ve never had before. Everything was excellent. We complimented the waitress on the food and the sous chef Jordan came out and greeted us. with a huge smile. Will definitely be coming back and everyone we know will hear about it.“

“Came here for the Mexican turn over. Had the Carne Adovada and cheese with Red, it was excellent. We also had a combination plate with red and green, and it was also great! Chips and salsa were okay. Atmosphere was charming cute older building. We got lucky with a parking spot! They were steadily busy, not sure who our server was as it was a group effort, they were busy and forgot our refill but no biggie. Prices were good.“

“Our server, Benjamin was new to his position but went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The bartenders were so great, taking care of an elderly gentleman who left his card at the bar. The bartender also made sure the lighting was corrected when someone made an error as it became dark outside. We will definitely come back to this location!“

“Tap and Taco is truly something special. The food is amazing, but what really sets this place apart is the kindness of the owners. They go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated, treating customers more like family than guests. Their generosity and genuine care shine through in everything they do, and it creates an atmosphere you don’t find very often. Pair that with some of the best food in New Mexico, and you have a place worth supporting again and again. Thank you Joel and Laura Marquez you guys are the best ever:) we love you guys“

“If you get there early enough, you get a nice table. Their food is first rate New Mexican style food. Not Mexican, NEW Mexican. there is a huge difference. Even after they left the bowling alley, they have managed great food at a great price. Staff is always friendly, fast and efficient. The Chile con queso is fantastic. The salsa never lets you down. While the portions are more than I can eat anymore they have lighter dishes that still deliver. If you get there after 6, you will have a wait ~ but it's worth it!!!“

“Just wanted to give a big thank you to Monroe’s on 4th Street. We went in a little nervous about food allergies, but the staff completely put us at ease. They were so kind and careful. The manager even went out of his way to call the head chef at another location just to double-check everything for us. They gave us a list of safe options and took every precaution to avoid cross-contamination. It meant so much to see my daughter enjoy her lunch without worry. Truly grateful for how thoughtful and accommodating everyone was. Highly recommend if you’re navigating food allergies. They really care.“

“Don’t sleep on this place Albuquerque. It’s good. I had the asada burrito last time and it’s big and really good. This time I had the fajitas, chicken and shrimp. Super good. Generous servings. And if they are cleaning the ceiling tiles you know it’s gotta be clean. That’s what I look for. A restaurant that cares about cleanliness.“

“I decided to try a new local restaurant for breakfast today and had heard really good things about Mick's Chile Fix, and since I was looking for a good chile fix I decided to try it. This place is awesome. I ordered takeout but the diner was super quaint and comfortable, it looked like a fantastic place to have brunch and it smelled amazing! The little gift store they had on the side was super cute too. I ordered a regular sausage breakfast burrito smothered in red and the portions they gave me were absolutely massive. Definitely a 2-day breakfast. The red chile is really rich and flavorful, I'd say a medium heat with enough kick to make my nose run, and the meal was delicious. 12/10 would recommend to anyone looking to support a local Mom&Pop-style restaurant while getting Grade-A+ New Mexican food at the same time. Will have to try the rest of their menu.“

“New Mexico decor, style, and delicious food. Onion rings have strong beer flavored batter, which I didn't care for. But they were good. Wonderful cheese quesadilla with artichoke hearts and we added beef was savory and wonderful. Nice attached gift shop next door. Some local art work, jewelry, and touristy items. Delightful place and experience.“

“Been coming here for years, nothing fancy, but if you want fresh made from scratch food, including the home made chips and salsa, you will find it here.
They don't charge extra for the chips and salsa like alot of places do now. Also be sure to pick up the card when you pay, they will stamp it and when you purchase 10 meals, you will get one free, can't beat that.“

“Went for brunch on Sunday after Church. Everything was perfect!! Every morsel was fantastic, had the breakfast enchiladas with carne Adovada and red and green. Yum!!!From the minute we walked in everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The service was sooo good, a favorite place of ours. 10/10!!“

“Say what you want about the location, but the amount of meat and the quality of the taco match the price. Admittedly, I was a bit surprised by the 3$ price tag for a single taco or the 13$ four taco plate but it was worth it. A 1/2 liter coke and 4 tacos de asada are just under 20$. I parked at the Circle K for my break and walked to each of the other taco stands, ordering a single taco. Mind you, its hotter than Hades right meow but after trying everywhere else, I came back here for a plate of 4 to eat down the road.

“Good food but fair warning, DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!!! I arrived and my order was non-existent so I had to wait for them to “find” the order and wait another 20 minutes. They said the online ordering system is not enabled but they will take your money trust me! Lol!! Enjoy!“

“I stopped by this tortilleria and had a great experience. The tortillas were fresh, delicious, and you can definitely taste the quality. They offer both corn and flour tortillas, and both were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the visit even better. “I have been meaning to try this place for years and my son and I finally went there today for breakfast. The coffee was good. The service was good. The food was good. I had the Menudo and he had the pork chops and eggs. He said the pork chops were seasoned very well. You are not expect this quality from the looks of the place on the outside. I plan on taking my wife back there some Sunday after church to try their huevos rancheros.“

“The food and most of the staff we’re great. One of the staff started a debate about Mexican and New Mexican foods not served. No potatos in NM ? What and Perea family being the oldest in the state. We all have roots girl but learn your facts. You do serve Mexican here, flan is Mexican. But became an argument not a place for this made the meal less enjoyable to bad.“
