“We happened upon Peres’s one Saturday last autumn , and their menu was a perfect example of selections that can be made for vegans, vegetarians or meat eaters. Jack had Posole made only with vegan ingredients and I had a classic potato stew. At the top of the menu they say the entrees can be vegetarian, chicken or beef. The restaurant itself was cozy and had a bar plus outdoor eating area. The food was delicious, not too oily and sizable potions. Additional note: the restroom was designed with antique cabinets and decor suitable for this historic building.“

“I’ve been going to the Range Café since I was a kid. Always have found memories of this place. Now that I’m adult and don’t live in NM anymore, this place still holds to its greatness.Tonight I tried their BLUE CORN RELLENO PLATE and it was terrific! Very few places incorporate blue corn into their recipes and I believe the unique flavor of blue corn is superior to all other types of corn.Their sauce is great too. And I really like their deserts too. The atmosphere and location is on par and love visiting the OG location. I always look forward to my next visit to NM to dine at the Range Café.“

Had the adovado empanada and the table shared the chicharrón. Empanada was delicious with flavorful meat that was tender and moist. Chicharrón were more like crispy pork belly but still delicious. Could tell it was a popular local place as it was steadily busy and lots of pick up orders. Would recommend it.“

“I decided to try a new local restaurant for breakfast today and had heard really good things about Mick's Chile Fix, and since I was looking for a good chile fix I decided to try it. This place is awesome. I ordered takeout but the diner was super quaint and comfortable, it looked like a fantastic place to have brunch and it smelled amazing! The little gift store they had on the side was super cute too. I ordered a regular sausage breakfast burrito smothered in red and the portions they gave me were absolutely massive. Definitely a 2-day breakfast. The red chile is really rich and flavorful, I'd say a medium heat with enough kick to make my nose run, and the meal was delicious. 12/10 would recommend to anyone looking to support a local Mom&Pop-style restaurant while getting Grade-A+ New Mexican food at the same time. “We love this place. We live nearby and specifically prefer to come here for the quality of their food. Typically there is a "local" or two going/coming or dining in (because they know the place is good). Maria the owner makes most items from scratch. The Mexican desserts (peleta bars and/or ice creams) are excellent as well. There are many favorites, however the torta sandwich is fantastic. The Mrs likes the soups. Kids meals come with fruit and a pouch juice drink. If traveling through on I-25 and looking for quality food, I would definitely suggest 6 Hermanos vs The Range. Easy hop on/hop off of I-25.“

“I was in the mood for enchiladas but I picked the wrong day for that when I visited for the first time at The Whole Enchilada. It was taco Tuesday and the green menu was my only options. The service was great from the moment I walked in. The woman who greeted me was so nice and pleasant. The place wasn't empty. Hard to tell from the outside. Everything was clean and folks looked to be enjoying themselves. I ordered carne asada tacos. Plain because I'm not a fan of fresh onions or cilantro. She gave me a couple tiny plastic containers to get sauce from the front and they were delicious and flavorful. She brought me the menu for all the other days. Recommended the sirloin tacos next time stating a different cut of meat than what I had. Asked if I liked seafood because she said the ceviche was great. Not a fan but I have family that love it. Note: if you do order tacos on a Tuesday, you get 4 but they have to be the same. I'll return because the carne asada was nice and tender and I still want enchiladas.“

“The food here is so so so tasty. I've come here a few times and every meal I get is delish. To start, they have a very tasty salsa that's different from many other Mexican restaurants. Their chips are a prefect crunch. My personal favorite meal is the rellenos buenos with red pozole and rice. Super cheesy rellenos with great breading. My boyfriend and we also tried the tamale cakes and we were blown away with how flavorful they were. Overall a great experience and a great atmosphere, as the lighting is dim and comfortable.“

“5 stars for service, price, portion and taste! Melissa, Chef Ricardo's sister was the cashier that took our order. She is super informative, kind and patient in answering all of my questions. I learned that they opened in December, only serve black beans, do not serve rice, that it is a family owned business from Cali, Columbia, that they do deliver and take call in and online orders! Parking was the only downside I found about this place but it certainly wasn't impactful enough to take away stars. My only suggestion is to play some classic Rumba or Salsa music to go with the Cali theme!In final, this is a must try! While it was not the California style burrito I initially anticipated, everything was AMAZING! The portions are HUGE, the prices are VERY reasonable, the restaurant was very clean with indoor and outdoor seating options and the service was great! I will be back soon!Parking: They offer free parking, several handicap spots included but can be tight during busy hours.“

And he came out the office and asked the girl at the counter. Who wanted to see him and she nodded with her facial expression towards me. This led me to the conclusion that there may be some racial indications there and I was completely dissatisfied with that mannerism. We had a snack earlier in the day, so it was a "peckish but must be dinner" and "Mexican." The service and attentiveness from everyone, and the food were both excellent. The music put us in a Mexican mood. The ingredients were fresh and the dining room and bathrooms were clean. The buttered quesadilla was so satisfying and crispy, and I found myself full after eating half of it, so guess who's eating leftovers mañana? “Everything I have tried here tastes fresh and is delicious. This restaurant serves Mexican food, not New Mexican food. I have tried the barbacoa, asada tacos, enchiladas, sopes, tacos dorados, huevos a la mexicana, and huevos con chorizo. Most dishes come with a side of rice and refried beans. The tortillas are home made! This restaurant is small, they only have about 8 tables open so expect to wait a bit for your meal, you won't be disappointed.“
