Saw a video of Los Pookies on TikTok and the food looked so good that we wanted to check it out. Went in to try it and had the Birria Pizza and the only way I can describe the food is just simply perfection! Went in a second time a few days later because it was that good and had the Birria Pizza again! Definitely recommend Los Pookies!
I like Los Pookies, but I'd not say that they had their act totally together. But . . . it's real. The food is good. Surprisingly to me, the birria tacos (the $2 Taco Tuesday brought me in) aren't the best thing I've had here - they're good, but not great (and not - to my taste - the best in town), but plenty dandy for the special price on Tuesday. My family and I tried eating here but had a bad experience the first time around. Management reached out to me and made things right. Took my family and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed the taco plate and birria ramen. Over all we have found a new taco spot and I recommend everyone to try it.
