If you're near Deming, NM, be sure to stop in for an excellent meal and PIES! The food is great, the service is first rate. Then there's the PIES are to die for. We live in Missouri but we've come to Elisa's House of Pies every time we come to Deming. Be sure to get to know Elisa and Curtis. You'll soon become life long friends.
Go here now. Worth the mile drive off the interstate to go to likely the best southern restaurant this side of TX. Everything was great. The greens were fantastic and so was the Apple\Green chile\Cheese pie. Probably a good thing that I don't live near here😂

Found this place as we were leaving Hatch on our way home to AZ, and we were not disappointed. Food was made fresh from scratch, and everything was delicious. Knew this place was a gem the moment we tried the sweet tea, which is also homemade. From the drinks, to the appetizers, to the main course, and finally the pies. You will not be disappointed if you stop and eat there. We definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. I know this will become a regular stop for us...
