The Deluxe Mexican Plate was awesome, carne asada, chili Verde, chile relleno, enchilada, taco, and refried beans and rice. They serve wine too. I should have taken a photo

They sell canned menudo and try to pass it off as homemade , I know that it's canned because I but the exact same menudo at Walmart, they add a lil extra Chile and put oregano in it . Don't buy that crap .

Stopped in a little after noon. The place was busy. We were told to sit anywhere. We weren't in a rush but did notice there hadn't been anyone by to check on us. We were finally given a menu and asked about drinks. When all was said and done, we left after sharing a plate satisfied and no longer hungry. They have to work on the attention and speed, they food is good but won't ever make up for what is lacking in efficiency and neglect. I'll try again but only before or after the lunch rush.

Went in, must have been busy. I'm sure the food would have been great. But I received no help. Sat at a table waiting to make a to go order. Sucks because I'm not from Deming, NM. I would have loved to try it out. Thanks anyways

If my wife would let me eat here every day that we were any where near Irma’s I would! The chicken enchiladas are the best I ever had by far. Burritos are so good and inexpensive too!
My favorite Mexican food in the southwest.

Wonderful fast and authentic Mexican food! Salsa is worth the stop alone. Gets busy for lunch.

Good food, but some people working there need to stop criticizing customers who have complaints. I ordered menudo by phone, was told it will be ready in 15 . Went over and had to wait 15 more minutes. Then this old lady working there started throwing some kind of trash. Is this the attitude that the owner accepts??

Irma’s Restaurant was a little tricky to spot at first, with the trees outside in full leaf partially hiding the sign. Once inside, though, we were welcomed into a no-nonsense, hometown Mexican restaurant serving truly authentic fare. Being so close to the U.S.–Mexico border, we expected the food to be genuine—and it didn’t disappoint.

The main dish was the perfect comfort after a long day on the road, flavorful and satisfying. The chips and salsa packed just the right amount of spice to wake us up from our travel fatigue, sharpening the senses with every bite.

Next time we pass through Deming, we’ll definitely be stopping at Irma’s again.
