This winery surprised me! It's really good! I've been to a lot of new mexico wineries. They tend to be too sweet for me. The cab reserve is excellent! As well as the vino del oro! And the gewurztraminer! Oh, who am I kidding? I liked almost everything here!
We had a great and free wine tasting at the „la chiripada winery“ and it really was hard to reduce my selection of bottles to 14 due to the limitation of our flight baggage ☺️ We will for sure return again and save more luggage space next time for these incredible delicious wine-creations they sell here. This winery is amazing! We made a special trip up from Albuquerque on our trip to New Mexico just to taste and buy wine here. Our tasting went amazing and Sage was very informative and a great person to talk to! Well worth the drive from Albuquerque.
