“I drove three hours and waited an hour for them to open...others were waiting too. No show Jones!”

“This is a wonderful restaurant. Good high-speed Wi-Fi as a bonus”
“The owner is a delight. No food. They do have snacks. Cafe Sierra Negra is right down the road . It's a great spot. You will run into all kinds of different people here.”

“We were planning our trip on the drive back to Denver from a vacation in Santa Fe, when we decided to include a walking Georgia O'Keeffe studio and Ghost Ranch Tour. This had been a childhood dream of mine. A book about her and her work was one of my first art awards in grade school. Because of that, she was one of my first introductions into what became a lifelong pursuit of art. With a ticket booked, I began looking for hotel stays nearby and found this place. Honestly, it was the only place to stay that didn't involve getting up early for a drive to meet the tour group that started in the morning. The pictures looked cute. The location was next door to the welcome center, so I made our reservations without a second thought... and, I wish I'd have thought to make the stay longer! This place was completely adorable. The property itself is so much more than the pictures. There's a local artists' gallery available for purchase, a great gifts boutique, a restaurant with that charming patio which made for a memorable evening dining experience, walking paths adorned with outdoor art, a night sky where you felt like you could touch the stars... we didn't even have one of the fancier rooms, and we felt like we were living "the land of enchantment." I will definitely be back!”

“My eldest brother who resided in California married into an Italian family who owned several Italian / Pizza restaurants. I drive by Momacita's every weekend and finally decided to stop and pick up a pie. When I walked up to the window to pay for the pizza I was thrown back to my childhood with the familiar aroma. When I took my first bite WOW I was 10 years old again in HEAVEN remembering that authentic taste of Italy. My Brothers in-laws always treated us like true family. Take it from me you will not be disappointed and build some awesome memories with Family. ENJOY”

“Was it busy all day for Valentine's Day? I'm sure! So maybe it was an off day. However the food and service were lacking. Food was overly salted and missing ingredients. We were not served something we ordered and it remained on the bill and seemed like a bother to take off. Our food did come out promptly which was great as we were hungry. But everything else was really lacking. My water cup was empty for the entire meal evening even after asking for a refill. The restaurant was clean beautiful and calm.”

“Definitely nothing to look at, located in a very old & tiny (maybe 5 tables) adobe building in the heart of El Rito (what's left of it)...but the food was great! We ate there twice in 1 week. Everything we had was very tasty...chiles rellenos, chicken enchiladas, tacos, stuffed chicken/bean sopapilla, beans, rice, sopapillas with honey. Everything is made from scratch by 1 guy & the only other employee is a girl who takes your order & money, & answers the phone (they do a big takeout business, mostly locals). You walk up to the counter to order & pay, & choose your drink from the cooler. Everything is served in takeout containers (even if eating in). Prices are excellent, especially for fresh made food. The menu is mostly northern NM cuisine, but is more extensive than you'd expect considering the size of the place. Generally open 1:30-ish to 7:30-ish Wed-Sun. You can eat a generous portioned meal for $10-12 or less per person. We will definitely be back!”
