Artesian Restaurant Reviews
We booked two nights for dinner at the resort. We had high expectations for the second night after the great service and food on day 1. Totally different experience on day two. I ordered a beet salad but it had no beets. I didn't realize until my husband asked where the beets were. Not a problem as the salad was good just attentions to detail in the kitchen was lacking. The wait staff we had on the second night was all business and it took her a long time to get drinks and take...read full review
Alyssa is an excellent waitress. She was prompt, responsive and genuinely friendly. We had a light dinner. The food was fresh, hot and very flavorful. The wine selection was generous without being overwhelming. We will return
Very nice restaurant on the property. Good varied menu choices at fair prices. Make sure and make reservations as very busy. We had the Fahita's and Buffalo Short Ribs. Both were very good with good portions. Nice service and wine list.

Artesian Restaurant at Ojo Caliente Resort & Spa offers good, reasonably priced food with delicious entrees and friendly customer service. The room and grounds are very clean, enhancing the overall experience. The staff is welcoming, and the service is excellent, with guests praising the wait staff. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and offers a good selection of wine and beer, but it does not serve hard liquor. During busy weekends, reservations are required weeks in advance, and the tiny bar area can be crowded with walk-ins. The food includes favorites like Blue Corn Muffins, Bison Short Ribs, Tamales, and Chili Relleno with Quinoa Tamal. The breakfast burrito is also very good and large. Some guests found the noise level loud, especially in the evenings, and noted there is no outdoor dining area. Dinner options like salmon, filet mignon, and fajitas are highly recommended, with warm and attentive service that fits the resort atmosphere. Guests enjoyed homemade ranch, guacamole, and sweet potato fries, although some found limited options if staying at the hot springs for a long time. While some evenings may see delays in service, overall, it provides a good dining experience for visitors at the spa, who appreciate the quality of the food and the caring staff.
