La Cabana | Mexican Restaurant in Farmington is one of the best places for good Mexican food with great prices. The service is excellent, very nice, friendly and courteous, making guests feel very welcome and important. The chips and salsa are really good, as is the chimichunga. Popular meals include the number one combination, the # 6 platter with shredded beef enchiladas, and caramel churros. The enchilada melted and burst with flavors. The churros are cooked on the spot, hot and delicious, though some wish they came with vanilla ice cream. An horchata is also available. The peaceful atmosphere and delicious well prepared food keep customers coming back, with one guest returning four more times after the first visit. Prices are very reasonable for the portions served. The only issue noted was only one napkin given with silverware, but more were provided upon request. The only thing lacking is alcoholic drinks due to a pending liquor license application. Overall, this place earned a high rating of 8.9.
