Service was absolutely perfect couldn't ask for better. The food was very good, the breakfast burrito was on point. Never disappointed when I eat here.

After a long week of work, I took my family of 7 out to eat at this restaurant for the weekend, which has been a staple in the community for years. Unfortunately, the customer service was disappointing. As the waitress approached our table, there was no greeting.. no “hello” or “good morning”..just a rushed “drink?” before she walked off. The food itself was okay, but the service continued to fall short. The gentleman delivering plates looked visibly annoyed, as every table he served asked for refills or condiments. This lack of attentiveness made the dining experience feel rushed and unwelcoming. What stood out most was the owner walking the floor, seemingly acknowledging only non–Native American customers. In a place that should value hospitality and inclusivity, this environment of selective attention undermines the restaurant’s reputation.
Overall, while the food may be passable, the inconsistent and often poor customer service, combined with an atmosphere that feels dismissive toward certain patrons, has caused this restaurant to lose much of its value in hospitality.

Ate here for the first time today. The place was really busy. But we were seated immediately and our server greeted us right away. She was very friendly and efficient. Our order came out surprisingly quick! The food was tasty. The portion was huge! Plus we got complimentary chips and salsa.

I must recommend Don Diego’s. Even though they were busy, they provided fantastic service and quality.

The lounge has the greatest atmosphere in Gallup. Great ppl, service, drinks, and food. Ask for Drew and Jacob. Will not be disappointed!

Just realized I forgot to review this place. After a hard day of work, neither of us felt like making or cleaning up supper, so we decided on a date-nite! After looking at a couple of places that we considered and saw all the reviews, we hit on this restaurant and were SO glad we did!

Chips and salsa were so packed with flavor. The food portions were delicious and huge! We took 1/2 of both dishes home and had a second meal.

Topped it off with a Sopaipilla dessert that was amazing!

We’ll definitely be going back and we pointed some friends going out for their 30th anniversary to have dinner here. They loved it!

The prices were very reasonable too!

I had the stuffed sopaipilla and my wife had the veggie fajitas! (Soooo goooood!!!)

Had supper here during a recent visit to Gallup in September 2025. Outstanding and Delicious food. Highly Recommend to anyone traveling through the area, and I'll Definitely eat here again.
