The food was amazing. I wasn't too impressed with the tamales, but the rest of the food was DELICIOUS! The service was lacking. We waited quite a while for our waitress to bring us the extra things we requested, like napkins and tortillas. Drink refills were spotty as well. We noticed that most of the other servers just seemed to be hanging around talking. The busser was quick though. The slow service was a bit annoying, because we were visiting from out of town and needed to leave at a decent time. Food - YES! Service - NO 👎 We still left a good tip though.

This place came highly recommended so we stopped in and had a great meal. Friendly and prompt service. Food was great, loved the huge soppallias and chips and salsa were amazing. We asked about the history of the restaurant and our server kindly obliged, which was a nice. Definitely recommend this place

Fantastic NM food and the staff are super sweet! Definitely eat here if you're in Gallup. The chile sauces were all fantastic. Very reasonable prices. When we got there it was packed with locals so we knew we'd hit the right spot.

Fantastic experience here, friendly staff, and great food. I'd visit anytime. Really enjoyed my chili relleno and my wife's carnitas tacos. I think I would order the chili relleno without extra cheese on top, and with the red sauce next time so that it wouldn't overpower the tasty pepper.
Kid-friendliness: They seem to love kids and weren't put off by my five stir-crazy children being more unruly than usual due to long driving hours.
