Went after the lunch rush, so most the food wasnt as fresh, not gonna knock the place for it. service was Awesome because I got a takeout tray and served myself!! Don't know on the atmosphere...cause I got my food, paid and left. Not gonna lie, the place looked like it could use a good cleaning..and typical of all of Gallup ...not a single smile from anyone. How can you be around all this good food and frown!?

The manager was very rude and dismissive when I notified him that there was a bug which wasn't a fly in my drink. He didn't bother to look at it and stated it was a fly. Stated there was nothing he could do about it.

Honestly the only saving grace was our server , food just wasnt up to par. Literally had no steaks everyone was waiting in line, nothing but chicken. What happened the variety ? Honestly felt like we wasted $100 for nothing

The steak was average. The first one I tried tasted great, but the second was not nearly as good. My son was served a piece that was almost entirely fat. I asked for a rib, and the staff member took 30 to 60 seconds to cut it, which seemed excessive. When I tried to eat it, the rib was cold, which raised concerns about food safety.
Overall, the experience was underwhelming. The most disappointing part came later when both my wife and I became sick, likely due to the cold, undercooked ribs from the buffet, I only had one bite and she had several. She was more sick than I was.
I had previously told myself I wouldn't return, both because I tend to overeat and because I was worried about food safety. I should have trusted my instincts. Lesson learned.

We were just passing through Gallup and stopped at this Golden Corral for dinner yesterday. What should’ve been a normal family dinner turned into an extremely uncomfortable and unsettling experience.
The manager on duty repeatedly stared at my young daughter in a way that was clearly inappropriate and unprofessional. He not only pointed her out to another staff members while she was at the buffet but seemed to follow her toward the restrooms. His behavior was predatory and made us feel unsafe.
This is absolutely not what you expect from management in a family friendly restaurant. It was disturbing enough that we reported the incident directly to Golden Corral Human Resources.
If you plan on visiting this location, please be mindful of your surroundings and your loved ones. We will not be returning and we strongly urge the company to look into how their leadership is behaving around guests.

I always come to this place because it's my favorite and the food is amazing but the server is not that bad because we have to wait 5 minutes to get our drink but the price it's not expensive and pretty good which is why we always come to this place.
